Theodore E "Ted" McCalment, Sr died at 9: 45 pm. at Culver Hospital. He was a retired painter and paper hanger. He graduated from Bloomingdale HS and attended the Methodist church at Bloomingdale. He was born May 18, 1912 in Sylvania son of Eli E and Nora Kennedy McCalment. He married Mildred L. McCarty Nov 17, 1933. Other survivors are: two sons, Theodore Jr of Woodbridge VA and Stephen Dale of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Brown of Monticello and Mrs. Sharon Brummitt of Lafayette. A brother, Williard R of Bloomingdale; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Beasley of Terre Haute 15 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the United Methodist Church at Bloomingdale with Revs. Charles McCarty and Francis McCarty officiating. Friends may call at Powers Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday and after noon at the church on Friday. -- kbz
